Opening Theme: “Hotaru no Hikari,” the Japanese version of the traditional New Years song Auld Lang Syne. Traditionally sung by Japanese students at graduation and the end of the school day, it is also sung as the closing song for Japan’s Kohaku Uta Gassen end-of-year singing contest spectacle.
